Firstly, the software now has endnotes support, so you can comment and leave endnotes in long documents: insert them into the document itself or into the story, number and format them, layer them out as you want.
Adobe InDesign also supports importing endnotes from Word, has automatic numbering options, as well as provides an extensive set of tools for editing endnotes to your preferences. Then, Adobe InDesign CC allows more precise setting and modifying of objects throughout the whole document. Use new options for height and width styles to adjust size and position of multiple objects across your file.
Also, the new release works better with text assets: add text object from your document to any CC library, share it with co-workers, and reuse it if needed. The text objects you choose for saving in the library have their attributes saved, so any character or paragraph styles you've chosen will remain untouched.
Finally, Adobe upgraded some of the font-related features of InDesign. Filter fonts in your search results with such new options as Serif, Handwritten, and Sans Serif; search for visually similar fonts; organize your fonts library with ease.
And though Adobe InDesign CC doesn't offer a major upgrade of the existing features, it provides enough new tools to make working with it easier than before. Tags Office Tools Design.
